When preparing your vehicle for auction, it’s essential to be truthful and detailed in your listing. If your vehicle includes features like cruise control, make sure all necessary components—such as cables, modules, and switches—are present and functional.
Taking clear, good-quality photos can significantly enhance transparency, as buyers appreciate honesty over the unrealistic expectation of perfection in used vehicles. Remember, having the vehicle title in hand at auction is crucial, and be sure to avoid financed vehicles or titles with liens. Ensure that the title is in good standing and, where applicable, notarized in person with the buyer for a smooth transfer.
